42-Class RS-32

The only RS-32 is seen working the yard north of the shop area in Springdale on May 27, 1987.

The RS-32 is seen in Ft. Smith on June 20, 1987.

Our RS-32 is seen sporting its new nose herald.

The frieght to Ft. Smith is first seen crossing a road north of E Fay on Sept. 26, 1988.
The train is then seen passing the station at Fayetteville.
The train is then seen at Fayette Jct.

Our subject is now seen working the Fayetteville Farmers CoOp along the former mainline of the Ozark & Cherokee Central Railroad to Okmulgee, Indian Territory, later known as the Muskogee Branch of the Frisco.
The switchers are then seen approaching the underpass below the mainline of the Frisco Central Division betweem the Fayetteville station and Fayette Jct.

Our subject is then seen in Springdale.

My last slide of this unit before it was rebuilt into the equivalent of a C420 by rebuilding the electrical cabinet.
