Happry 100th Birthday

August 2, 1992

This train is in town for the 100th anniversary of the Frisco Bridge across the Mississippi River on August 2, 1992. This first view shows the train westbound toward the bridge.
The train is next seen exiting the subject of the celebration.
The train is now seen in Marion, where the locomotive has uncoupled from the train.
The roll-up protection for the picture window of the theater car is now rolled up so that the riders can see the track as the train rolls back to Memphis.
We next see the train back in Memphis at Kentucky St.
The theater car is then seen as it crosses Kentucky St.

The transfer run to President's Island is seen at Kentucky St in Memphis on Sept. 14, 1985.

This string of units is seen along side of the diesel shops in Springfield, MO in August 1984.
