While attempting to find the head-end, we discovered the BNSF (ex-CB&Q) yard in La Crosse, WI on March 24, 2007.

On our way back to Tulsa, we ran into this southbound freight.

The next train at Cherokee Yar in West Tulsa on Sept 10, 2011 was a westbound general merchandize train which headed into the yard.

Now the warbonnet is seen in Cherokee Yard in West Tulsa on July 16, 2011.

On my way to Memphis along US60 on Sept. 18, 2011, I make a curve and find a green over red signal and an intermodal train in the passing track. I pull off and get this shot.

I suspect that this eastbound BNSF train on the former MP mainline is the HOUMEM that came about from the SP merger into the UP system. The going away shot shows the train about to pass under the US71 overpass in Texarkana on Oct. 7, 2011.

The next train at Urban in Tulsa on March 5, 2013 is led by a unit with a number 2 more than the Kalmbach "Magic Number".

I also discovered the power from a grain train off the BNSF on the A&M in Springdale, AR on June 11, 2014.

The next train was this westbound BNSF intermodal behind #1068 at the signal bridge just west of the diamonds, Rochelle, IL, May 17. 2007.

Next came this freight heading into the receiving tracks of Cherokee Yard on March 5, 2013.

My last train of the day was this eastbound stack train at Urbon in Tulsa on March 5, 2013.
This westbound empty coal train in Rochelle, IL on April 7, 2007 was interesting for several reasons. First, it is running on the passing track. Second, the seond unit is a Ferromex GE with radial trucks. And last, but not least, there were three former Frisco red hoppers in the train.

Another eastbound, this time a stack train, at Urbon in Tulsa on March 5, 2013.

The next movement was this eastbound freight.

A military train is seen rounding the curve off the Avard Sub.

This empty unit coal train appeared from the south as I was arriving in Heavener, OK on Dec. 7, 2012 so I turned around and caught it at the north end of the yard before the fueling racks.

Upon arrivving in Springalde, I found this pair of BNSF units, apparently the power for a unit grain train off the BNSF on July 7, 2014.

The next train was a unit steel coil train approaching from the east and heading out the Avard Sub.

This lone GE then appeared from the east at Cherokee Yard in Tulsa on Sept. 12, 2012.

The first BNSF freight into Cheerokee Yard in West Tulsa on Sept 20 2011 had another WAMX unit DIT behind the 2 road units.

The next train at Cherokee Yard in West Tulsa om Sept. 10, 2011 was the stack train that originates at Clovis, NM. Today it has a string of tri-level auto racks with SUVs on the rear of the train.

Next came this westbound freight which entered the yard.

An eastbound grain train is seen in Billings, MT on Aug. 25, 2011.

We then headed for the train show in Springdale, AR on Fb. 23, 2013 and then caught the BNSF unit heading south at Sunset Street crossing on our way out of town.

We then got an eastbound freight on the BNSF at Vinita, OK which would meet the SW Explorer passenger train at Afton, OK on April 28, 2012.

Our next train was at the end of CTC NE of downtown near the location of where the Midland Valley and Katy crossed the Frisco and the Santa Fe had their station on July 16, 2011.

A westbound freight is een arriving at Cherokee Yard on Sept. 12, 2012.

Next was this westbound freight coming off the Cherokee Sub and entering the Cherokee Yard receiving tracks.

The next train was the westbound BNSF J B Hunt container train on May 21, 2012.

BNSF GE #5387 in very faded paint leads an eastbound stack train past the park in Rochelle, IL om June 18, 2006.

On my way to the NRHS convention in Springdale, AR, I caught this KCS trains leaving the south end of the Watts, OK yard led by 2 BNSF units on June 11, 2014.

This eastbound general freight was the first train of a very good afternoon of railfanning at Urban in Tulsa on April 25, 2013.

On my way out of Muskogee, OK, this southbound BNSF unit tank train was being refueled under the Shawnee Bypass overoass on May 11, 2013.
