Cotton Belt train 605 moves around the west leg of the wye at Tower 17 with its early morning departure from Memphis. This train is the Memphis connection for Cotton Belt train 5, the St. Louis to Dallas Morning Star, and will be incorporated into that train at Brinkley. Photo by Harold E. Williams in August 1949, provided by Jeff Cauthen.

SSW PA1 #300 is not on a passenger train, but it is wearing the Daylight colors.
Also note the track leading off to the right and the RI coach yard.
